JLC crystal removal question

Another n00b question here, but how do I determine how the crystal on this watch is held in place and how to remove it? (e.g. via a gasket, glue, or compression, and if it can be removed using something like a Bergeon 55-019, or if it requires a crystal press and removing the movement/dial first)? (I'm trying to remove what looks like a piece of metallic debris on the dial)...

Rather than trying to remove the crystal which may prove difficult/delicate see if you can open the back; it might be much easier to remove the movement and then the debris

Hm good point. I may take it to a watchmaker soon to see what they think as well...
