IWC Cal. 8531 18k: Redial or Original Dial?

Hi all I have the opportunity to acquire an 18k IWC cal 8531 but the iconic seconds gold dots are missing, leaving only indentation marks. It’s from a reputable Japanese dealer but the dial just doesn’t look right.

Any thoughts?

Dial does indeed appear to have been reprinted to me: the lettering is uneven, especially around the 6 position, and all the minute markers seem to be covered with paint.

Yes, a crude redial, and not only because of the signature. The easiest "tell" is that when the dial was refinished, the minute/second indices were painted over. They should look like these:
