路I mostly dislike Hodinkee because as soon as they happen to mention a watch I want to get, it becomes impossible to find and hideously expensive overnight (the "Hodinkee effect").

路They would add at least one "literally" and one or two "seriously/awesome" as in "It is quite literally a seriously undervalued watch. I have one for sale, it is awesome."

路I am definitely a fan of Hodinkee as a whole, but am also curious to see how this next phase pans out. Needless to say, the site's original content like Talking Watches, Reference Points, etc. is some of the best produced watch content on the internet IMO.

I usually read Hodinkee only when someone links a good story or write-up, and never commented on the story. If I'm ever motivated to do so, I'll remember this thread 馃槈

路路IG: #blubarb19From what I can see, Hodinkee is a haute fashion house fan site. Read it for what it is or don't read it, but forget about commenting unless you keep the line. Personally I refuse to get heated by their website in any respect. Let them edit themselves into oblivion for all I care. Hodinkee is a wealthy Wall Street wannabe club that is careful to make sure that the hoi poloi don't contaminate them with reality.

路路IG: #blubarb19Toe surgery. They straightened my "hammer toe" because the wound from last year's surgery was causing a blister on the ball of my foot. Fortunately, hopped up on pain killers I didn't (and don't) feel much. Now two weeks after surgery I don't have any pain, just occasional discomfort.
(Hey, Hodinkee, did I say that right?) 馃槈
Ouch!! I have to say this...sorry...but did you need a toe truck? Boom! Boom!
