The crown looks like a replacement.

But here check these out -

Hi Gumby01,

Really appreciate your quick response. So overall the watch seems authentic, but the crown (and the strap of course) is replaced and the fair price (of course the inner-condition is a black-box) would be closer to EUR500?

Best,
Laci

If you have a look for sold Omega Cosmic 2000 watches on eBay you will see what people are willing to pay, this one seems a little more expensive than other similar watches.
Iam sure someone with more knowledge than me may be able to give more information.

Recently had this left to me. Followed all the guides on IDing it. Never seen a speedy with a face like this so don't think it's genuine but I'll let you guys confirm. Can't find a serial number externally but not looked inside.

Really bad fake. Can't even pretend to be a proper chronograph with the day/date/24hr subdials

Hi guys,

Im a newbie. I've joined the thread after finding it to be one of the most legitimate groups for current and accurate information on high end luxury watches. I recently won an Omega Co Axial Chronometer Rose gold watch at police auction in NZ. I haven't been able to find any info on it as it came with no papers or box. I am taking to be opened and looked at, at some stage, but for now I'm hoping that you enthusiasts can shine some light.

The back case is quite detailed I just know nothing and seem to be having trouble finding any accurate info online.

It has a blue second hand.
Here's some pictures.

Thanks in advance

Well look I don't understand your arrogant attitude. I literally have no clue what qalemdar means or what relevance it may or may not have to OMEGA that's why I'm asking here. Fitting name for your avatar. Thanks for adding to my confusion. Cheers

I was perplexed by his answer UNTIL I looked closer at your pics. Yeah, I think you can assume you have a very fake Omega.

He was pointing out, rather simplistically, that the clue was in the wording.

I don't see that as arrogant.

In case you haven't noticed it.

In case you still have reservations, I suggest you pop the caseback off and post a pic of the movement.

My brain is having a very hard time pronouncing that, it keeps wanting to shift letters around and make it Qual-e-mander. Like Salamander.

Ouch.

If the NZ Police Dept. you purchased this from indicated it was an authentic Omega I think you have a VERY strong case for a refund.
If you only paid a few dollars for it, oh well live and learn I guess. If you paid a significant amount then I would raise hell with them.
As has been mentioned, have the caseback opened up. That should end any doubt. Best of luck going forward.

I think he's just confused at what Qalemdar is--- it's not a special or proprietary feature, it's a complete misspelling of the word "calendar"

Today is my lucky day.

Quantum of Solace seamaster—I found the first one issued! 0001/5007! It comes complete with prototype dial.

Awesome! Might be from Bond's early years when he was an agent-in-training as the dial does not indicate Double 0 status yet, just 7

"Calendar" is completely misspelled on your case back.

New to the forum. Just picked up a Speedmaster yesterday. I haven’t opened the case yet but what do you all think?
