They should have them engraved on the case but it’s likely they were removed when the case was over polished. The Reduced was never highly sought after and therefore not collectible, meaning they aren’t usually faked. The only issue with your watch could come about if you wanted Omega to service it. They need the number to verify it... but if you have a local and trusted watch maker service it, you’ll be fine. Not fake, just a tired watch with a horribly refinished dial.

 

Wow! Got it... I was trying to find a match to any of the models listed on Omega's vintage search but couldn't find a match. Is that because of the poor refinishing on the dial?The crown doesn't go in completely, as well. Do you feel like it's worth 300 on eBay?

 

Crown is incorrect for this model, that's why it doesn't go in.

I wouldn't recommend this watch at any price.
