Thank you for the response! Unfortunately all the pictures are low quality on this one, but I have attached the others available.

It has nothing to do with image interpolation. No amount of image stretching can account for this. It is 100% fake as stated. The fake producers haven't been able to make one with the correct spacing of the subdials as of yet.
Does this apply to all Speedmaster Professionals? In other words, if the subdial spacing of a Speedmaster Professional is correct, there is no chance that it is a fake? I just ordered a Tokyo 2020 Rising Sun off a seller on Chrono24 (Time Japan), is why I ask. I have not been able to find Rising Sun Speedmaster Professionals on the fake sites, but one always worries a bit.

Hello,

I just want to get some information as to the authenticity of my newly acquired Omega.
Thanks

Its a genuine Omega, however the dial has been refinished which destroys value, additionally the movement and case are in horrible condition.

I'd return it if you can.

Is it worth anything?

I remember back in the mid 1990s it was mostly fake Rolex’s I had to worry about. But these days they seem to fake every watch above $500.

Very rare Omega Space Skeleton, $399 on Etsy. Gruesome, morbid, and just...horrible. Really, someone will buy this?

I saw this on a local auction (actually just down the road from me in London). Opening bid is about £2k with the buyer's premium, and a bit surprised it's attracted no bids at all (given bidding on other watches in the same auction). I wondered if there was some obvious red flag I am missing? The only thing I can think of is that for a watch that appears to have been worn quite a bit, judging by the bracelet and clasp, that ticket over the sapphire seems remarkably pristine.

Nothing jumps out at me as being wrong. It Could end up being a good purchase for you if it stays low, assuming you want it. Just be aware these are quite large on the wrist

Thanks - I've always quite liked the idea of having one, but not at the price point. I might stick a bid in at the opening bid and see what happens. If they are right that the papers with it are from 2016, it's still in warranty, although I'm not basing anything on that.

Omega warranty changed from 3 to 5 years per July 2018 so this wouldn't have factory warranty anymore.

Ah, wonder if that has something to do with why it's up for sale.

Dear all,
I just saw this Seamaster on Ebay and I find it nice at first sight, in particular the color of the dial.
Can you detect anything fundamentally wrong in this watch (non-legit, redial, etc)?
Minimum bid: 450 dollar.
This is the seller’s description:
“General: Excellent general conditions.
Dial: Original, in perfect condition, gold color.
Case: Gold Plated and Stainless Steel 35mm (Without crown)
Original crown marked Omega.
Cap: Screw type with "Seamaster" emblem engraved in the center in high relief.
Movement: In immaculate condition, original, Cal 1012 - 23 Jewels - Automatic
Bracelet: Supplied with 2 bands:
1: Original Omega bracelet, gold plated, diameter: 21 cm“
Thanks in advance for your input!

Google Seamaster 14763 which is what is marked inside the case back and you will not find this watch, so at the very least the case back is incorrect.
