See if you can take better (closer) pics of the movement with the rotor in different positions and not obscuring the balace area.

So far it look OK (based on those pics).

Hello everyone, I'm asking for some HELP. I bought a watch about 2 months ago on Chrono. It came with the box but no papers. I do have an ebay authenticity card, the master chronometer certificate, pictograms, a little satchel, and the manual. I honestly didn’t think Omegas were faked! thought that was more of a Rolex thing. I didn’t look too deeply into the buyer. I paid around $4,000 plus tax, and now I am losing my sanity.

From the videos I've watched, I still can’t tell if it’s legit. I did my own video and counted seven ticks per second. I also tried every fridge magnet I have on the back, and it still ticks normally. I checked the serial number on Omega’s website, along with the access code for the METAS certification, and it all shows up. For some reason I had to click twice but it works.

PLEASE, can someone do a LEGIT CHECK? Not sure if I can post videos, but I’ll try. THANK YOU in advance for any help!

Lighting inside my room is terrible, I may need to take more pictures during the day.

Download watch accuracy meter app. You said you counted seven ticks per second? That should be right for an 8800. Use the app to time it, if the BPH is 25,200 it's legit, there is currently no known fake movement that uses this beat rate and there is zero incentive for fakers to do so.

I agree, that the pictures look good, from what I can see as well.

Serial number: 83330812
Article ref: 21030422001001
Version of movement: 8800A

Serial number matches the reference, it's good.

Thank you. I have seen your GIF on other posts, I am glad I got the REAL. I can sleep now knowing I didn't get bamboozled for 4,000$. Next time, I will do my due diligence BEFORE a purchase. Thank you to everyone who took the time to review these, I am extremely grateful.

In my experience you can trust the ebay authenticator if you purchase it and it goes there on it's way to you. The company they use is well known. And 4k for that is a pretty good price imo if it's new. Chrono24 holds their sellers to a pretty high standard too.

Well, you protected Yourself by paying the right price and by buying through a service that provides some form of authenticity validation. The OVERWHELMING majority of fakes that we see here are 1) bought for CHEAP; and 2) from some disreputable seller that shared three grainy pictures.
