Guys,

I just saw a fake PO today on Ebay and I will report it. The case back gave it all away. Man, they do good job faking watches nowadays. Basically I took off my watch and compared the back to the one in the pictures.

Just reported again. The listing is still up. I hope they take it down before the poor buyer has to buy this piece of crap.

I dare to say it looks real. Does it feel cheap or something? From pictures I would not even doubt its authentic.
I just bought it, because as compared to the normal speedmaster, the price is even lower, so I am a bit sceptical on this...

Yay or Nay ?

Fake 300s have a brushed crown i think. Fake clasps are all brushed and not the brushed+polished combo. At least this is what I last saw.

Guys, what do you think of this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Omega-Seamaster-Planet-Ocean-Skyfall-Limited-Edition-42MM-232-30-42-21-01-004/272422342098?_trksid=p2060778.c100290.m3507&_trkparms=aid=111001&algo=REC.SEED&ao=1&asc=40954&meid=050386595ec746c5816108f26e61cbd9&pid=100290&rk=2&rkt=4&sd=172526234849

Well, here are my thoughts:

1)- It looks to me it is a mix of fake and original...
2)- The movement sounds fine to me but the case doesnt.
3)- The logo on the clasp looks thicker compared Original.

What you think!!
to me, looks like a mix of fine and fine, stirred in a pot of crappy photography

What do you think of this? Saw it amongst a guys collection photos and wondered what it was... all I can find with word searches is

Ref: 1453938

...and that just brings up a page of replica sites!

Is it a complete fake? Or am I just unlucky in identifying it? Thanks.

Bloody expensive! $7.7K or something when released, now reselling at minimum 12K it seems... annoying!

I have been looking for a 2201.51 PO and came across this full set. The price is reasonable but the seller deals in a bunch of stuff and watches don't seem to be an area of expertise. It looks okay to me but I'm not 100% sure because of the seller, frankly, and there aren't many photos. Thoughts are appreciated.

Hello new members...

Welcome to the OmegaForums.net!!

I have specifically created this thread just for the newbies who come on here after they have been given a watch buy their uncle's uncle twice removed OR they have bought what you think is a legit Omega off good old flee bay!

The idea is you post your watch here and it is discussed by our panel of experts, who I might add, may say few choice words like 馃が and 馃が or maybe 馃が.

The will endeavour to be as blunt as possible, but getting you the answer you are looking for.

The main idea is this..

It will remove the countless new threads asking 'Is my watch fake?' or 'I was left this by my dad's dad's dad from 1860'

Any new threads will be merged in to this one as of now.

Thanks very much.

The OF Management & Moderation Department.

Fire away!!

Im still trying to get a few clearer photos of the movement.
