Maybe worn off, or it could have been a gray market with the # removed. It's in pretty tough shape, inside and out, but I'm sure it's authentic.
Thanks for you comments the pictures definitely make it look a lot worse than it actually is, looks a lot better in teal life. What's the grey market?
Managed to get some better shots, I know it's a little ruff around the edges but that doesn't matter to me as long as it's genuine
Gray market = non-authorized re-seller of new watches. That doesn't really matter on a watch that old, especially if you like it. It's genuine. Just be advised that it probably has the water resistance of a sponge at this point, and I believe that battery is incorrect. Not disrespecting your choice, but with heavy wear, missing its bracelet, quartz movement, needing full service, serial # removed...you may find there are better values to be had.
This watch (http://forums.watchuseek.com/f29/fs...terra-2803-30-37-great-condition-3994794.html) is for sale now for $1600 and when you look at the pics closely the serial # is obviously inscribed in black and it's advertised as a 2007 This watch (http://forums.watchuseek.com/f29/omega-aqua-terra-seamaster-co-axial-2803-30-37-a-654433.html) sold back in 2012 was also advertised as a 2007 but the serial on the log is not in black but looks to be just deeper cut into the SS Question is... are they both legit?
When I look at this I dont think this was made by Omega. I could be wrong becouse it watch from around 1940, but I think its redial with wrong hands. What do expert(s) thinks? Thank you http://uhrforum.de/omega-military-18k-750gold-1944-wwii-r17-8sc-35mm-t295622
Leave that s**t alone! YES awful vomit redial.. Case is Omega but looks battered hes had the case back off BUT WHY NO MOVEMENT PICTURE! Hand are NOT orriginal so yea your spot on! Heres a CORRECT radial arabic 30t2
Legitimately check needed (and fair market value). Speedy reduced with missing bottom pusher cap http://m.imgur.com/a/WwGxz
genuine missing cap is a good tell tale last one "fullywound" sold was offer £1250 HOWEVER in way better condition.. this one is a hesalite crystal early "reduced" so your looking what like 90 -96 (ish) there's a LOT of aging to that lume would suggest serious water ingress over prolonged time even if its only ever so slightly "damp" seems unnaturally heavy (to me) for such a modern watch... if this is dial side i'd seriously save £350 for a service! Ask for a movement picture dont accept "i dont have "special" tools its a snap back EASY to remove lipped edge look at inner case check gasket movement condition... unless its cheap.. id hold out..

Your battery is at 11% and you're looking at fake Omegas? Where's your sense of priorities son? PS: And reported.
Hi, A noob here, like all your kind advise. Do you think this speedmaster is an authentic one? Thanks.
The examples as compared seems fine but I am not too sure what details I need to look out for. So will like your kind advise.
Too lazy to stand up from the sofa and pick up the charger at that hour of the day. Once the battery is over, it's then time to go sleep Thanks for reporting and attention to details
I dare to say it looks real. Does it feel cheap or something? From pictures I would not even doubt its authentic.
Guys, I just saw a fake PO today on Ebay and I will report it. The case back gave it all away. Man, they do good job faking watches nowadays. Basically I took off my watch and compared the back to the one in the pictures. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Omega-Seamaster-Planet-Ocean-46mm-Steel-Mens-Watch-232-30-46-21-01-001/351979216601?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid=222007&algo=SIC.MBE&ao=2&asc=41375&meid=735952e32b9344a3b45bdeab79828ca8&pid=100005&rk=2&rkt=6&mehot=pp&sd=182447077251Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
and thats a bad fake. =). Ive seen really good fakes that have a fully decorated movement in the back and with a black colored balance spring. 46mm is really off though lol. 31 bidders are about to eat it if this doesnt get taken off!
