Purchased this Planet Ocean 8900 from a forum member with good feedback. No reason to believe it’s fake it came with box, paperwork, cards etc. Just wanted the peace of mind since it’s the most expensive watch I ever purchased. Everything seems pretty legit. Not sure if it’s my eyes or not but the square market above the 12 seems slightly off or tilted or something. Very slightly. Or “Seamaster” is crooked but maybe it’s the angle or the S. Could be the angle or reflection. Anyone see anything off? Or looks good. I can take pictures of the movement too.
I don’t see anything wrong with it. I own the same watch.

Yup. You bought it from someone here with references, relax a little. I don't see anything wrong with that watch. or even mildly concerning.

If you go to the Omega website here: https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/masterchronometer create an account, enter data from your cards, you'll get a certificate. You'll know then that the serial number is valid for the reference.

Yes thank you. That’s why I didn’t list his name because I had no reason to think it’s fake. Just a lot of money for me and was taking that one extra step to be prudent to get some feedback from the members here. Thanks for taking a look and for everyone confirming it’s a great watch. And thanks for mentioning the website, I put in the numbers and saved the certificate.

Hello!
Found this PO LM LE on Chrono24.
No papers, no box.
To me, it seems that something is wrong. Something in the bezel, maybe? Or the proportions? Pip triangle size? The way the bracelet kisses the lugs?
I do not know.
(and I'm not talking about the dirt...)
What do you guys think?

Hello!

I’m currently heavily considering a purchase of a full kit ‘TinTin’ from 2013! My only sorrow is that it does not come in the wooden box.. the seller claims that since its a early edition they did come in the older red box… can anybody confirm this? The Serial r matches the paperwork…

Hello,
I'm looking for some dress watch, and came to this DeVille Prestige Quartz. Price is ok (~500$), so I wanted to check whether there are some red flags before I go to check it (kinda long distance)? I'm posting some pictures of the watch

Thank you,
Nikola

Something doesn’t sit right with this one. The way there are no markings on the case back, the laser etching and the dodgy dimensions of the ‘Omega’ are red flags for me.

Hello all!

I bought this watch a few years ago from a reputable seller on eBay but lately have been worried it was a fake. I apologize if the photos aren't the greatest, still trying to figure out how best to shoot the watch to get clear bright shots without washing out the photo.

That looks legit to me. Is it a 2009 white gold PO? The serial and AU750 markings suggests that it is.

The details I can see seem to stack up, and I can’t point at something that isn’t correct but I can’t see all the details I need to have a proper look!

For me, the key is in the movement. Is the serial that is on the lugs also marked on the movement?

Unfortunately I don’t have one like yours (which really cool btw) to compare it with!

The serial is also on the movement and it matches up. But my main concern that it is a fake is the serial number points to 2009 but the watches from that era all have a solid caseback vs. the window.

What is the model number of this watch?

Where do I find the model number on the watch itself?
It’ll be on the papers if you have them.

if not, is there an Omega boutique near you? Or an Omega AD? Perhaps they could tell you!

I’m sure that given the year and the limited variants it could be quite straightforward for a man of impeccable taste such as yourself 😀

Hello expert Omega fans, I am just wondering if it is possible for these counterfit watches to not only replicate the outer shell, but also the internal movement/function? i.e. a counterfit annual calendar to actually function like one (such as knowing when to skip a day on 30 day months).

Not too sure what you mean about skipping the date for a 30 day month? Even the originals don't have this function.
