Hello,

I’m here today to gather some inputs on this NTTD watch for sale on C24 from a japanese seller.
The points i have a doubt are 1. It comes with both milanese and nato 2. The number on the strap is GIA59 whereas all i could see on review, pics from sales ads etc… is HIA59, and GIA and 59 don’t seem correctly aligned.

There is something odd about that bezel pip. The bezel itself looks a little brown too. Attached a photo from omega for comparison- the metal ring is thinner and less pronounced. I’m wondering if the seller is using poor lighting to mask other concerns IE: dial texture and colors. I have other concerns but I don’t know if they are brought on because of the poor lighting.

I’m actually not too confident in the C24 model. Looking at the engravings in the back (hoping the sellers edition number has been photoshopped out and not just overlooked), the numbers are the wrong font/style. Just look at the shape of the A and the 7. All the numbers are obvious, but easy to see in those two

Woh, thanks for spotting those details for me. I also assumed they photoshopped the numbers on the caseback, but after all, isn’t it the same on all the NTTD watches ? So why photoshoping them …
and you’re right that the A and 007 don’t look 100% the same looks like there’s less space between each number on the official picture.

About color and ring/reflect between bezel and crystal, i assumed this was the lighting and a plastic on the crustal, but i’m not so sure anymore. Maybe i should forward those comments to the seller … and go for an unworn one on the gray market in UE.

Got new pics, better quality. (I erased the serial number on the case.)
More details and font on the case back and color seems more legit …

Hello new members...

Welcome to the OmegaForums.net!!

I have specifically created this thread just for the newbies who come on here after they have been given a watch buy their uncle's uncle twice removed OR they have bought what you think is a legit Omega off good old flee bay!

The idea is you post your watch here and it is discussed by our panel of experts, who I might add, may say few choice words like 🤬 and 🤬 or maybe 🤬.

The will endeavour to be as blunt as possible, but getting you the answer you are looking for.

The main idea is this..

It will remove the countless new threads asking 'Is my watch fake?' or 'I was left this by my dad's dad's dad from 1860'

Any new threads will be merged in to this one as of now.

Thanks very much.

The OF Management & Moderation Department.

Fire away!!
How do I post from my phone? Thanks.

Possibly silly question but do any fakes that say "Co-Axial" on them actually have the Daniels' movement?

Hello, I've looking to buy my first omega for months and found his one I really like, sold with box. Although it looks genuine to me (omega symbol, star symbol, fonts, ref number on the back etc) he hasn't posted pictures of the 1120 movement that it supposedly has (I asked and waiting). Any first opinions? Price 530 euros

Hi all,

Opinions on this watch? Looks pretty good to my untrained eyes but just wanting to confirm it's legit.
