·Hi all! I have a guy wanting to sell me a sapphire sandwich. I’m feeling odd about it because he wants only $2,500.
I sent him a message asking if anything is wrong with it and I’m waiting on a reply.

·The watch seems real, although the logo on the crown looks off compared to my 1861, also the crystal seems more boxy than usual, might just be bad photos.

Sorry to break the bad news, but it's a well known style of fake from the 1960s/1970s.
Value is approximately zero, unless it has any sentimental meaning, then it's priceless.

Why send it to Omega when it is clearly fake? Just shipping the watch will cost more money than it is worth! Also, cannot believe that Omega serviced a fake watch...
