That is why I was a little concerned. I went to a certified omega dealer. And the looked the watch over, open it up. Check all serial numbers and warranty card. And checked if the serial number was registered with omega and it was. I paid £3875. But yes perhaps a good idea to contact omega in Southampton
If that’s the case, I don’t know why you’re worried as if an Authorised Omega dealer was selling it and you’ve already done those checks then you should feel confident it’s all legit TBH, stop worrying and enjoy. The warranty card probably says 2005 and that is what the serial number relates to. Stop worrying and enjoy wearing it. If bracelet concerns you take it back and ask for clarification. If bracelet is a fake then the dealer is obliged to replace it with a genuine one.

Your watch is legit, no really good fakes out there of the speedmaster that have the correct sub-dial spacing AND detailed movement.

Don't rely on the serial numbers to comprehensively date your watch, they're all over the place. Your watch appears to have screw-tyle bracelet rather than push-pins, which would suggest it's post 2016, unless of course the bracelet has been switched out

Screw-tyle bracelet...?

Should have read screw-STYLE bracelet.

The removable links have screws either side which keeps a pin in place, the older style has friction-fitted pins which are pressed in place.

I believe the change came in around 2016 along with the large box and extras.

EDIT - sorry, just spotted you posted a pic, that is the later style bracelet

Thank you for the info. It helps a lot.

I bit off topic and perhaps I should post a different post. But, the black nato strap that comes with the box, is it worth it? I mean, I really like the bracelet. But I live part time in South America and the bracelet really makes the watch look like an expensive watch because of the shine. But I'm not sure that the black nato strap is a good option. Anyone have any info on this? Maybe photos to share? Or should I start a topic in a different part of forum?

The bundled NATO strap is really quite good, I personally am not a fan of NATO straps, I think they add a bit too much bulk to a watch, granted they really suit some watches.

I'm currently wearing my speedmaster on a perlon strap it's a nice brown woven Palma model by Eulit, it offers great adjustment, is nice and breathable and allows the watch to fly under the radar - it's the one on my avatar actually.

Have a search for posts on different straps, the good thing about the speedmaster is it will work on almost any strap!

The picture is very poor, it may be a picture of a real watch, although I have never seen blue protection stickers from Omega, but have seen them on fake watches. The price is a giveaway, you can expect that sort of watch to be about 10x that price.

The first one you posted appears to be a genuine, Chronostop, although looks in poor condition and is missing a pusher, the 3rd photo on strap is obviously a different watch, albeit same model.

Price on that is lower than I'd expect, by about half, but may reflect condition.

I'd suggest that you have a good think on what it is you want, as you've posted some very different watches, decide on the type you want and research it thoroughly, make sure you get lots of pictures if dealing remotely, and stick to trusted sellers.

Remember, if it seems to good to be true, it probably is

Thank you very much.In fact I am thinking on buying the first one,it will need a new pusher and some confiderable servicing. The price is 190 euros I guess it is a fair price for a watch in this condition. All the others I have posted are more expensive and much more suspicious. The first one pictured is priced
190 euros I guess althought in poor condition and with no crown I am going to buy it.Servicing will not be cheap, but for the moment and attending my budget, I guess its the best option. Thanks once again.

So for 190 euros may the vintage seamaster be genuine, and a good price even considering the price of the servicing it looks to need ,and ofcorse the price of a new crown?

I suspect it's genuine, but that price seems far to low, a quick search on these references show a good one is about 3,000 GBP.

Based on the pictures you have I wouldn't, but if you can get better photos, do some research on the movement, likely servicing costs and replacement parts cost/availability.

I'm no expert on these things, so all I will say is use a bit of caution, Omegas are a premium product and as such prices tend to reflect that, I'd be wary of anything at that price point.

Looking at your post history, you've posted up a couple of very obvious fakes, along with incorrectly identifying a vintage omega as fake, no disrespect intended, but stick around and learn a bit more about the brand you're buying into before making any rash purchases.

planet ocean-449 euros.
Be realistic. For 449 Euros you can buy a new Omega clasp and a perhaps pair of springbars.
Either the seller has a fake or has nothing, and is looking for simply taking your money and sending you nothing in exchange.

I'm pretty sure this is legit, let's see if anyone here sees something that causes concern. Used Omega Speedmaster MkII Racing dial reissue, pictures included. Everything LOOKS shipshape....to me at least.

Hi All,

I’ve found this omega seamaster 200 pre-bond on Facebook market place.

I think it’s a 368.10.41

I can’t find another one for sale anywhere so no idea if the price is any good. Also not sure about how to decide if it’s fake. Hence the post here!

Views very much appreciated.
