They (circles) are still there. Zoom in and look closely on the bottom
Half of the sub dials. They just got lost on that picture due to low resolution.
You're right, they are there. That said, they seem to be really hard to see because of how soft this dial is. Meanwhile, the dial of the 2020 321 is sharp, and the concentric circles are nice and clear.

The strap options seem a bit cheap (leather and nylon) compared to old (alligator) giving them more profit from the price increase.
Omega probably dropped the alligator because not many people prefer it. Also, if you think about it, leather and nylon are probably a better fit, considering that this is a sports watch. Most people put their Speedies on leather or nylon straps if they're not using bracelets.

What’s the reason for the “human space missions” instead of “manned”? Gender equality? Humanoid robots going into space blur the lines between manned and umanned? 😕😕

Star Trek: "To boldly go where no man has gone before".

Star Trek: The Next Generation: "To boldly go where no one has gone before".

"Human Space Missions" is correcting a mistake if you ask me. TNG did it in the early 90's. Astonishing it took Omega 30 more years really. I wonder how long that debate was going on internally.

Or they know more about the robot uprising than they are letting on.

I for like the the new version with applied logo, and will be keen to see this in person once available and we can! Also ticks a lot for what I'd like in a Speedy. Will push the Monaco Calibre 11 for my 1st Chrono purchase.

Am I being blind/ stupid (probably both) what is AML?

This document looks pretty legit. Except for 'deployment' buckle. 😲

Precisely.
That's been sticking in my mind since I read it👎

AML = Applied Metal Logo

Brilliant, and one of the pro/ pluses I wanted in a Speedy (was looking at the 3594 before)

I personally think the 1116 bracelet design is minging so that is a big step backwards IMO. It might be built to a decent quality though I suppose unlike the original. The 16mm taper clasp will please many, the 20% price increase likely wont.

The new DON does have a "tell". Compare the dots over the 225, a little further to the right on the first 2 on the new one. And the dot under the 250 is slightly further away on the new one. Probably done on purpose, it will be tricky to find a new name for them.

If this PDF is real (and it looks like it is) Omega has done everything right: better movement, better bracelet (same style as the golden 50th), DON, step dial and so on... and: there‘s still a hesalite version.

ok, no ceramic bezel. And we don‘t know about the clasp on the bracelet.

As I am still missing the ”normal“ Speedmaster in my collection I was thinking about getting the current 1861 or waiting for the new one. Now I know: I‘ll wait for the new one. I actually should call my OB very soon...

A Sub for the divers itch maybe postponed, my trio of Speedies is complete

Now that will be a nice collection, just needs a Sub to round it off 😗

I'm just glad to know that my old caseback is now officially considered sexist and offensive. 😟::facepalm1::

Great update overall, but I hoped that they would have added little more water resistance same time as they were updating the watch. Even to 100m. Not that I wanted to go swimming with Speedy but I have seen countless threads about this topic: Is it safe to...
