£5,370 for the hesalite/bracelet in the UK. £5,100 for the textile strap.
I was expecting £5,750 ish. Cool.

Even £6120 for the he Sapphire could have been worse TBH and I was expecting more

What comes in the little separate box now ?

It's a transport box for the watch and, when fully folded open, neatly stowed in the larger box where it is holding the watch.
Check out the Snoopy III reviews for more details. It is a smart approach.

That's still an £1100 price hike for both the Hesalite and Sapphire versions (bracelet or strap)

Still very keen to hear if the clasp has "on the fly" adjustment or only the 2 microadjust holes that I can see??

i dont think so , see the official statement:

Around the wrist, OMEGA has made yet more changes. An integrated, fully-brushed bracelet offers a five–arched-links-per-row design. Similar to Moonwatch styles of the past, it includes a new clasp with a polished OMEGA logo on a satin-finished cover.

Indeed but we knew a price rise would happen for sure but it's not as bad as some suggested

So I can fly return from Dublin to London Heathrow (Terminal 5 w/ BA) for about €50. I reckon I could save about a 1k if I pick one up from the Omega Boutique there duty-free. Obviously flying is a bit if a no-no for the next few weeks. Still tho.... thank you Brexit!

[Edit: Seriously - have I got this right? Sounds a bit too good to be true].

I like the look of the sapphire especially with the movement upgrades. Didnt realise it was coming with the sapphire display back also, a nice bonus.

Shame no ceramic bezel, and must admit the AML is nice, but prefer the older style AML.

Decisions on whether to go for the older 359 and mod to specifications I'd like (older lume, pro hands and black bezel) love the lesser script on the dial, hesalite and older AML. or go for the new one.

I'd say it depends on the market. Price increase in Australia is worse than most other markets mentioned here. $2k price jump, and priced ~$1000 more than Swiss/U.S. conversion.

I do too, but I think they're not trying to go full vintage-nut on the standard production. The vintage-style AML has already shown up on a number of limited editions, and it'll probably stay that way - which I think is just fine

Hand-hold through that again?

New bracelet looks more like an old 1116 than a 1479

I don't get the people saying the price hike is ok? If I recall the previous price correctly it's a jump of more than 20%.

Very few brands/markets can afford a price hike like this one without losing a huge amount of customers. Not even Rolex raised the price of their new Submariner by this much.

Seems like the SednaGold® version has not a "milky ring"; it has a "beer-y ring" 🥰

Please?

Of course 😟

I thought maybe the admitted notion of “hand-holding” was diminutive enough for politeness, but certainly see no harm in doubling down 😁

Please hand-hold me through your perpetual motion machine whereby traveling between Dublin and London, post-Brexit, will shower you with 1k cheaper speedys? 🤔

I agree with you. The previous hesalite was £4260 and Sapphire was £5k.

So the hesalite has increased by 26% and the Sapphire by 22%.

I don't think either of these newer models are worth that much of a price hike to be honest.
