It's quite strange in Italy it will be just a little bit higher than NL and FR.

My Omega Boutique gave me the prices (France) today :

310.30.42.50.01.001 - with painted logo and hesalite : 6200€
310.30.42.50.01.002 - with AML and sapphire : 7000€

Ouch. Is that inclusive of VAT?

If this is close to actual pricing here, that's CAD 9700,00 for the hesalite and nearly CAD 11,000 for the sapphire version. A very substantial hike indeed, and not far off Snoopy 3 pricing territory. Omega must be very confident in the demand for these new variants.

I anticipate a rush to the exits for the remaining 1861 stock.

I was just calculating that.

Taking into account the conversion, minus the VAT (Canada taxes are posted after) the pricing will be around $8,500 for Hesalite and $10K for Sapphire.

DAMN!

Enough of that small increase talk.

Greys are licking their chops with older speedmaster inventory that stands to gain them a grand or so over night.

Prices above likely with VAT which would explain the difference between France (20%) and Italy (22%).

You can't just take prices from one country, take off taxes, and convert to some other currency at current exchange rate. It might be close, or might not, each region has their own retail price calculation based on other factors besides exchange rates.

That's quite obvious.

Guesstimation is all we are after.

Makes sense, Swiss salaries have risen faster than inflation...

That’s about £1300-£1500 increase for both models in the UK. It does appear to be steep but let’s get confirmation tomorrow along with all specs confirmed to see if it warranty that increase.
I’m sure they will sell like hot cakes!

So, it’s basically 50% more expensive than a perfect speedy from the early 90s. Something is wrong. The first one is too expensive, or the other one is too cheap.

So 30 years of inflation with only 50% increase actually isn't too bad if I'm understanding you correctly.

I'd love to buy everything at a 50% price increase from the 90s, including housing, cars, clothing, gym memberships. 😁

Canadian pricing will be:
- 8550 CAD hesalite
- 9700 CAD saphire
per AD info.
