I am with you on this one. The vintage applied logo looks amazing. However, I am not sure about the modern AML. My preference is the printed when it comes to modern.
i concur!

I think it deserves 8/10. What do you think?

This is an awesome watch. Hope to be able to walk into a boutique and try it on at some point.

Despite always being a fan of moonwatch, I don’t own one. Maybe this will change soon 😀
They are awesome! Hope you get one soon! It's a great all around and daily watch 😀

Not going to quote anyone on the "manned" thing.

This still impresses the hell out of me. The first woman in space had to parachute out at 20,000 feet because that's how the cosmonauts did it when they came back to Earth. When she was getting on the bus she urinated on the bus tire because that's what you did, starting with Yuri.

It takes a big man to recognize a bigger woman. Good on you, Omega.

Omega shows that they have a lot of respect for the past and its fans but also wants to move into the future with the new movement. Not an easy tightrope to walk, eh?

Sad thing is the price is creeping up, which is reasonable. But it's not quite the biggest bargain in a luxury watch that it used to be.

I was wondering if there is another reason they replaced the text to the new 3861 from "Manned" to "All Human".

Is there any chance they may replaced the text because they have used it all these years with the 1861cal and may be there was any condition at the contract with Nasa how to use it? So, now that they somehow they succeeded to qualify also the new 3861caliber, they had to change the text at the caseback in order to use it?

😕

Is it wrong to want a cabinet full of Speedys - wife would say "they all look the same" - but I want a Silver Snoopy, this new Pro, an Apollo 50 Anniversary....and a few more...

While Omega and BMW ///M keep releasing new models, my bank manager will continue to be my most dialled number...

Not that long ago (2012/2013) I bought a Speedy Pro (new) for about 2.400€. And I thought "Man, I could have gotten one cheaper", because they were about 2200-2300 back then. Man, the times have changed in these 7 years...

Vintage are still vintage, discontinued and finite as such. This simply means the 1861 and iterative's will eventually be joining them.

Regarding values... where did I place my crystal ball...

Well when I bought ST1 seems smarter now than ever that I chose #1861 😎

In all my years on forums, seeing the old case back, not once have I seen anyone "triggered" by the wording. On the other hand, several people have most certainly been triggered by the change.

I was triggered by the change but only because I am sceptical of all change in general 😁

Shit, the casebacks will go through the roof. They will be the new DON for sure. I’m buying a couple of thousand for retirement investment 😁

I can't imagine it will do anything as even if the modern bezel fit vintage watches, which I am guessing it won't, I can't see this impacting their value.

Video would not work for me...Is there a way you can make it widely available?

Huh. Not sure what is happening there. It is only a bit of fluff, but here.

I predict the value will go up, down or stay the same.

I predict people will either love this watch, or hate it, or think it's ok.
