Redial I think. No swiss made at 6, the script for automatic seems off not very neat. The lume has come out of the hour hand.

These photos aren’t good enough to make a good determination. However, there are a few issues that I can see. The hands seem to be missing their lume, the case condition is not very good, the dial has been relumed, and the crown seems to have been replaced.

The watch is authentic. Not exactly the sharpest photos but it would appear that the dial was relumed at some point (the lume points look a little too green, and misshapen)? The crown appears to be a generic replacement.

I’m not seeing any printing of “Swiss” or “Swiss Made” at the bottom of the dial. An American cased watch could just say “Swiss” so perhaps it’s obscured by that lume plot, or perhaps it’s the angle of the photos. I would want a crisp, high resolution photo of the dial to say anything else.

Hands appear ok. Movement is correct. Anywho… I like these classic SMDVs but this one wouldn’t tempt me at all. Unless it was stupid cheap. Actually, even then… no thanks. Lot of ‘em around in better shape. Good luck!

Have a look at the private watch sales forum on OF. Good vintage Seamasters come up for sale here with some frequency. This is the best place for you to get an honest vintage watch in good condition at a fair price.

It’s authentic but I also think it’s been redialed. Better pictures are required to confirm.
