Is this screw missing ?

Hi, all.

I just removed the back from my 1970’s Seamaster 1020 and noticed what looks like a hole missing a screw. The same on the opposite side of the caliper.
Then I did a google search and Saw watches with and without screws.
So, my question is: are there supposed to be screws in these holes or not ?

My guess is no, you don't need case screws with this case/spacer setup, but hopefully someone more knowledgeable can comment.

Movement sits on a lip of the spacer. Back as mention probably screws down pressing spacer and dial edge against case lip holding it in place
