Nope. Dial has been refinished.

And rather poorly.

This one should be shot! 😁

Woah there - newbie with a vaguely menacing title and no avatar joins today, posts three words (none of which is, er, please or even hello) and two fuzzy photos of a POS. Let's just say, huge respect to the leading members who took the trouble to answer so politely. I know it's not just me has certain gears that grind sometimes.

I've also been trying to figure that out too Alan, so thank you for asking, there doesn't seem to be an option while browsing on my old iPhone! So I'll second Alan's request.....anyone? 👎

photo looks like its from a yard sale, or pawn shop. looks like junk in the background.
usually original original pieces wont be found in many places other than watch/jewelry stores, although it does happen, its not often.
i scour the pawn shops, junk sales, flea markets, yard sales, etc, and havent seen one yet, although i did find a lorus snoopy watch from the 70s once, although when i got it home, and opened it, the battery had exploded...

Thanks Gav, my dashboard looks exactly the same as yours but minus the icon option that you circled! My dashboard just has the search icon (magnifying glass) and the mail icon (envelope) immediately to the right of it, I'm thinking my old phone maybe incompatible unless I've missed something that I should have activated whilst signing up?👎
Thanks for replying and trying to help though sir😀

Id disagree with this statement. I’d say many vintage watches found In jewellery and watch stores have actually been redialed and tarted up for sale. You’re more likely to find original dials in varying conditions at yard sales, estates, auctions etc. although obviously specialist (trusted) vintage dealers generally have more original dials.

I don't totally disagree with your post, although, I've been "picking" (for lack of better term) for well over 2 decades in many states, looking for certain antiques, collectables and watches/jewelry... and in the many hundreds of different thrift stores, flea markets, yard sales, etc. I've been to, I have never seen more than one decent original watch (found a red letter sub at 30k at a yard sale that I should have bought but it was gone by time I did an hour of research), I seem to find more in smaller, mom and pop jewelry shops. I find my best from collectors, in online forums, like this one... I'm still always hopeful while thrifting
