Omega 321 / Ref. 145.005-67 - Is this dial original?

Good morning everyone,


I don't have much experience with Omega 321 chronographs, so I'd really appreciate some help with this one.


The watch has a 145.005-67 case, and I'm not sure whether the dial is original or not. The case and movement both look original to me, but I'm not so sure about the dial.


What especially makes me wonder is the fact that some of the 5-second markers on the outer track are partially covered by the sub-dials. Is this something that would be correct for this reference, or could it be a sign that the dial has been replaced or refinished?


I've attached a couple of pictures. Any opinions or advice from people who know these 321s better than I do would be greatly appreciated.

perhaps you could post better quality photos of the dial? think hi-res and multiple angles. these photos are not helping

I am no expert but why would someone put the hour markers over the numbers?
Refinished dial IMHO.

I don't know much about this reference, but there are about 30 things on that dial that scream re-dial to me. The subdials are what immediately sticks out to me as horrid, but the hour markers are particularly silly.

Thank you some much guys for your help.
My suspicions have been confirmed. I feel sorry because that friend was charged a lot of money for this watch, and they put a fake dial on it. What a shame.

It’s not a fake dial. It’s highly likely to be a genuine dial plate that’s been very poorly refinished. Not much better really but it isn’t fake
