Hiya 😀

Just wondering if anyone could assist with working out if this is a fake Omega Seamaster Quartz? Paid £296 and have been happy with the watch for a year and a half.

These photos are the original ones from chrono24.
I had it in my head that I was buying the photo from Omega's website: a Seamaster 1982 replica. 1380 is very lightly engraved on the back of the watch.

Any professionals got an opinion? 😀

All the best!

Why do you ask ? You are happy with it for the last 18 months? That's all that matters to you , correct?

Looks good to me, very nice condition. 1380 is the movement caliber, you will find some information on it on the Wibble-Wobble-Wibble. I would expect it to be gold-plated, but the confirmation is on the inside of the case-back. If you can grab a photo when the battery is changed that would be useful. I think you did well there.

So in conclusion you watch is authentic and it is a lady watch based on the fact that the reference number start with 5.

Hi all, thanks so much -

I know it must sound mad to only check it out now @watchyouwant I got googling of the exact model I thought I had but couldn't see any that had pictures that also had numbers on the dial... All of a sudden got worried.

@MRC thank you, I didn't realise 1380 referenced the movement!

@Mark020 thanks for the tip 5960035 does look pretty much like what I've got.

Thank you all, I'm new to watches and learning more and more as I go!
