Hi @ all the specialists,

today I got larger pictures of this watch: a 1950? UN. I know: black dials are dangerous.
What do you think, what do you see.

What do you think about the pulsation-hand (lenght)?

I asked for pics of the movement and back of the dial...

Nope, there is no possibility that the dial is original.

Among many other 'tells', when you find a dial that clean, and a movement (and or case) in far worse condition, the likelihood of originality is very small, at best.

I'm not an expert on UN, but something about the linked example doesn't seem correct, either. Why would the tip of the minute hand reach into the pulsations register? Makes no sense.

+ : IMO the roots of the movement is from the 40ies.

So there should probably be Le Locle written on the dial and also not SWISS ??
concerning the hands: hm......minute-hand also to long.

(I will not aquire this watch)
