Is this dial legit for this Omega Constellation F300 198.003?

Hi

I want to buy this watch from a private seller but i am a little worry because searching for similar watches on google i do not find similar watches with this model of dial. So please help me with your opinions if the watch is ok to purchase or not.

It looks legit, but I have never seen it. I'm not an expert but have an interest in f300s so I have seen a lot. Also, the minute have doesn't reach all the way to the minute track.

No, the dial is not for this case, probably a one of a kind re-print. Movement is not Omega, should be all copper coloured, and a case clamp is missing.

As above, the dial may or may not be legit (I suspect it’s original) but the colour of the plates indicate that the movement is not original. All the Omega hummers were copper colour (like the serial plate which has been transplanted). The ESA originals are silver. It’s been swapped in my opinion. Not that it really matters.

If it’s cheap enough it looks a nice watch, but cheap enough means no more than a couple of hundred tops.

I have never seen an f300 with this style of hour markers and hands, but it's very nicely done if its a redial. Also as the post above points out that the Omega version of the ESA 9162 movement has copper color decorated plate/bridge.

Just curious, what is a "service part", and how is it used? I assume there is a different set of hands that go with the dial?
