Is this Constellation 14393 a good deal?

Hi, completely new to vintage watches, and this forum, so I'm hoping to get some guidance 😀

I've stumbled over this Constellation on a local second-hand site. The seller doesn't appear to be an enthusiast, and so lists what he knows about the watch, and makes it clear that that's all. Here's a transcription;
14393 61 SC, case size 34x11x43 mm.
Omega 24 jewels cal. 561 automatic.
The photo of the movement is from when I bought it in 2011. It was newly serviced when I bought it. I haven't gotten it serviced, only checked a couple of years ago, where I was informed that it didn't need service anytime soon.

He's asking around €1200 for it (Could probably get it for a little less with some haggling).
Again, I'm a complete newbie, so I'm hoping you can give me some pointers in what may be wrong, if anything. From what I can tell, the crown isn't original (should be 10-sided?), and the hands may be wrong, or there's missing lume on the dial (as far as I can tell from the limited pictures).

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated 😀

The crown is incorrect as you note. 10 sided or a special scalloped crown are good for this reference. The hands and dial are both lumed, on this dial type the lume is on the end of the markers in small recesses.

To me the watch is in overall not great condition, it has an aged dial with wear to the pie pan edge and some light bubbling, incorrect crown and a polished case. I'd not recommend it as a buy and would put a value of somewhere around €550 - €650 on it

Ah, I absolutely hadn't spotted those, thanks.

I don't know if the photos are just bad, or it's actual damage, but thanks for you assessment, I'll skip this one, and keep looking 👍

Patience is the key. They’re sought after, you won’t find good examples for a fair price any day of the week, but they do exist. The For Sale Section of this very forum is definitely a place to keep an eye on. Also, if you participate here and reach 200 posts at some point, you’ll be able to post a Want-To-Buy. Chances are some members will get in touch. 😀
