Tube may still be attached to the crown (that gasket in the crown can get very sticky) and you unscrewed the crown tube. Either way, your watchmaker should be able to get it sorted out for you.
I’m enough of newbie that I don’t have a watchmaker 😀

I did send something for a service a year ago but would have to look him up to remember his name. I am in Cambridge UK.

Greetings! Sorry to hear about the crown coming loose. It is the correct crown for that watch as far as I can see. If you opt for a full service of the movement (which is not a bad idea if you plan to keep the watch long term), the crown will be addressed. That said, I imagine your issue can be addressed in and of itself, and any competent watch shop should be able to fix it.

Assuming no special parts were needed, a similar issue would be fixed by my local shop in a matter of days for a small sum. But if I were to take it them for a full service I would expect to wait several months before getting my watch back and would pay something in the range of $150-$200.

Either way, this is something you want fixed professionally if you plan to use the watch for daily use.
