Why go for a seiko or casio and forego the quality and design of Omega? Quartz has many benefits. Accuracy, maintenance, price. And if you're not into movements etc you get to look at the same gorgeous dial.

The argument of getting a vintage instead is really not that viable. For one thing not everyone likes vintage, for another you can get quartz vintage watches, and lastly there are no vintage AT which is thw actual watch the OP likes.

Not sure why Rolex quartz is any more legit than Omega quartz. Many great brands have quartz models, even Gerald Genta produced quartz.

Also before casio or seiko I would recommend Swatch. More design choices, good quality and like it or not a very relevant historic brand value.

While there's no vintage Aqua Terra per se, its design is very much a modern successor to several prior Omegas such as the Seamaster Cosmic 2000, early Railmaster, SM300 etc. Never hurts to consider the full range of options at the price point.

Omega quartz is propably as good as Oyster quartz. But for me my daily wearer is not always Omega, yes to take some wear and tear a Seiko and Casio are worn as well. Good basic quality even though at a cheap price point, it does the job. Quartz is a basic electric crystal technology that keeps time. In my OPINION not saying no one should wear expensive quartz, but for myself no point spending money on the dial and case only it is about the craftsmanship of the movement. This can go for vintage or brand new.

Enjoy it.

In my opinion, not saying this goes for every body. Let the Swiss make fine chocolate and mechanical movements and let Japan make reliable everyday electronic products. I enjoy both and respect them for what they are. The Casio, Seiko stands for something thing and the Omega stands for something else , no crossovers in my opinion.

Grand Seiko in SOME ways technically are as good or better than the Swiss. I am not taking anything away from Seiko. However, in a democratic opiniated world if I am going to spend that level of money JLC, Omega or Rolex for me.
