Is there such a thing as too many vintage speedies (photos included)?

It was a nice sunny day so I decided to get a few pics that maybe the forum will enjoy. 2998-3, 2998-6, Ed White (in photo one), plus 105.012, 145.012 ultraman, 145.022-68 transitional and 145.022-69 tropical (in photo two).

I've found most of the speedmaster variations I really wanted....but the lack of a nice blue dial is still eating away at me so the white whale hunt continues. Which is half the fun I suppose...those white whales are sneaky bastards.

    Great collection!

Can you have too many? Nope.

Would you share the movement number for the ultraman? Here or PM.. :)

    Welcome to the forum.

Fantastic - great collection of Speedies, but how on earth do you decide which to stick on your wrist on any given day?

What an amazing collection. And to answer the question in the thread subject, a resounding NO! Especially when you have a set of vintage Speedmasters like you have. Thanks again for sharing.

Thank you all. Guess I need to keep collecting. And I'm definitely an amateur compared to gemini4 and others.

I do still need a 2915....and that blue dial....and a gold '69....it may never end.

Oddboy- I will pm you the serial.

    Very nice collection.
After buying your last speedmaster, you will always want another one. This is the beauty and reality of collecting.
