As to the exact date is hard but as for current models on your pictogram card there are two digits. Take that number and subtract 1 to get the model year of that watch (e.g. 14 would mean a 2013 year watch...)
Hi,

can you please get into more detail. On the two pictogram cards of my Seamasters I can't find any two digits besides the version number of the instruction booklet.

Thanks in advance!

I think that was the 2 digit... I can't also find any 2 separate digit on the pictogram card except the version of the booklet

On my 15.000G master AT it states "16" which can't be possible. According to this logic it would have been produced in 2015 (imagine voice of Doc Brown here).

They won't do this, they want to charge you for the extract from the archives. Only way will be going to the ADs/Boutiques or other watchmakers who have access to the Omega extranet (e.g. ask Al here).

This is the reply

"Further to your message, we understand that you would like to find out the date your timepiece was manufactured.
Please be informed that we do not communicate any production date or delivery country.
All OMEGA watches sold as new by official OMEGA retailers are guaranteed to be in perfect condition. In addition, the international OMEGA warranty covers material and manufacturing defects existing at the time of delivery of the purchased OMEGA watch.
Since the manufacturing or assembly date of the various components making up a timepiece has no impact on the above conditions, the date indicated on the warranty card is the only significant date for the owner."

Yeah right....a watch sitting in a shop window for several years is a perfect new watch...

The Omega Extranet does not give information on production dates...

Your 15000 gauss stating 16 on the card would mean it was produced in the second half of the 2014 and which all second half or later production pieces of Omega should have the 16 distinction. Could you verify the date of your purchase?

So. Shall we consider this. Two digit as the production date of our watches subtracted by one??

As far as my knowledge goes with the cards a watch produced in the second half of a year until the 1st half of the follow year will have the same number designation. So as the example above shows that an August purchased watch of this year will have the 16 number on the bottom of the pictogram made in the second half of 2014. The 15 designation would have been there if it was the first half of this year and the 2nd half of last year. The 16 number should be on the pictograms until following 2nd half of next year where it will go to 17.

That is the closest estimate of production and year that I can extract from the card and also the serial is an indicator of a year or 2 range of when it was produced. Hope this is helpful and this is based on the knowledge of the cards I have seen and compared to the years of my sales data.

Yes, I can also verify, purchased on 7th August 2014. I also think this is the closest we will get. Thank you very much!

Hi Kringkily,
Did you read the last page of the book "operating instructions"? On the last page, there is a month/year (... Printed in Switzerland c Omega SA 01/14...), I guess it is the print date of the book. So the watch production date will not be earlier than the instruction book's print date?

My watch purchased on 5th Jan 2015, and the book's print date is 01/14, and the "two digits" is "16". I guess "16" is the edition of the instruction book ( also printed on the book spine).

ps, Sorry for my English...

My estimations are based on your pictogram card which I would have to assume your production is the later half of 2014 if it shows "16" at the bottom of your red card not the manual.

The "16" is also printed on the book spine of the manual, and the manual print date is 01/14.😕
