Is it ok to set time during the chronograph is running?

I got my speedys now 1 year. But yesterday I have asked myself what is when I adjust the time during the chrono is running and found no answers at google. This is something I did not know and what is wrong with it to know all the details about your watch.

In other forums I read about people which NEVER STOP the chrono... it is running all the time because they want a large second hand running.... so I asked myself too, do such people have to stop the chrono for setting the time.
