It took me quite a while to get this serviced, but here it is with a new crystal, serviced but not polished, and with a new grey strap from Veblenist that I think looks great. The watch belongs to my brother, and we are excited to have this family heirloom looking sharp.
Looks great and congrats!

Ended up finding NOS crystal and got my watch serviced as well. From mine to yours, Cheers!

Great strap choice.

Thanks OneTwo. I just reread your thread about your watch. It came out looking great.

Great strap choice.
Thanks. I do think it looks great on this strap. I've purchased a couple of straps from Veblenist.com and highly recommend them.
