I'm considering to buy this watch, but I have some questions.

Please, let me know your thoughts:

1- Dial seems to be in exceptionally good conditon or has been redone. What are you thoughts?

2- There is a star on the back case, I've never seem this in any other model, unless printed in the dial. What does it means? Is it legit?

3- The model nuber is not legible. I couldn't contact the seller to update pictures, any guess?

1. My guess from looking at the extra space between the movement and the edge of the case that this a “jumbo” case, probably Ref. 2505 or similar.

2. Dial is way too white for a 70+ year old watch. Almost certainly a redial.

3. The star is a makers mark for the case.
