At first I thought this a waste of mental effort and undue cause of stress, as it would never happen. But then I realized I (and perhaps others) have already asked and answered this very question.

Anyone can buy these right now, if they are willing to pay over msrp from a reseller. Granted, there are fewer 321s but they are available. Since I have been lusting after a new Ed White and have been checking with OBs about getting one, I guess the answer is the Ed White over the Pepsi.

This is not an easy question to answer, as the GMT is a favorite of astronauts and space watches are what got me into watches in general. A 1675 is a bit of a grail, even though it's mass produced.

Going back to the OPs question, the real answer is more like neither, as I bought other watches instead because either I liked them better or they were better values.

But come on, that new Ed White? I might become a money laundering dope dealer just for the opportunity to buy one at msrp. If I have to pay 20K for a choice between either one, Ed White. Then keep looking for a 1675. But for 20k, there are sooo many other watches.

Pardon the dog hair. With two Aussies in the house, its never ending.
I learn something new every day - sure, I knew they were good at Cricket, but that I did not know

Since I passed on the opportunity to put a deposit down for the 321 when it was announced and I recently indicated my interest for a Pepsi with a Rolex AD, I’m going to have go with the Pepsi.

I own a new Pepsi and a vintage 321 and I wear the Speedmaster WAY more so for me it would be the 321.

Thinking about my answer earlier, I'd probably go with this. At MSRP, it's Rolex Pepsi but at current market price it's EW321.

The Rolex, purely because I’m so f*cked off with all things Speedmaster right now (less than three weeks after service from a supposedly senior Omega watchmaker, it’s had to go straight back) 😡😡

321 for me.
Since purchasing my 321, it's the go to watch.
Great quality in the feel of the watch and not in your face like a Rolex, which I own 4 of and don't wear as often anymore.

I prefer 5 digit Rolex GMTs (I already have a 16700 ) so it would be a Ed White 321 for me . And I could wear it without Swmbo asking where I got the new watch from , Now that’s my kind of flying under the radar .

I'd probably go for the GMT Pepsi on Oyster bracelet if given the chance to purchase one at MSRP. I don't feel the need for another vintage looking Speedy in my collection as I already have a Speedy FOIS, but I do feel the need for a Rolex GMT. It's an iconic pilot's watch and I'm an aviation nut from way back.

I'm obsessed with GMT's. It's a complication I use routinely at work. Being that I have a 3861 in my collection, I'd go with a BLRO. It sucks they raised the price a grand, my AD says I'm "close". I just hope I don't let the value preclude me from wearing it as often as I'd like.

I've decided that if I get a call for a BLRO, I'm buying a GS SBGM247 to rotate at work. If I get a BLNR call, I'm buying a Tudor BBGMT for the same reason.

Ed White, and it ain't close.

Not a fan of Rolex GMTs in any flavour.

My financial advisor, of course, might see it differently...

Great question. Two years ago I would of said the Rolex Pepsi, as Rolex was all I ever owned. After the last couple year of ridiculous Rolex prices and no availability, I've add a few Omega Speedmaster's to the collection. Current present day 2022, I'll take the Ed White all day long.
I think alot of folks like myself, that were loyal Rolex buyers have gotten so fed up with the empty AD cases and ridiculous Gray market prices that brand loyalty went out the window.
By the way, I'm on my AD's list for a White Dial SS Daytona, so brand loyalty isn't completely out the window, Lol.

If I can buy at MSRP: the Pepsi because I have a soft spot for GMT watches and my BLNR is looking for a mate to conceive a COKE.

Otherwise, the 321 because it is the best Chrono out there (far ahead of Dayto) and I could get one at retail! 😁

Just noticing the Pepsi bezel is no longer on the Rolex website - did they stop it?
Early April’s fools!? 😉

I think the pepsi is more practical but i am not a fan of the current model.
How bad is the waiting list for 321? last time i checked i was told there is a long list and you might not get it for a while
