If you had the opportunity, which would you get? The Omega Speedmaster LE Speedy Tuesday 1 or the Rolex Submariner 126610LV.

I’d buy the one I liked the most.

That happens to be the Speedmaster, but you might feel differently.

I would go for the speedy because I already own a 116610LV.
If I didn't then I would go for the 126610LV.

ST1 without a doubt, its way way more rare. They probably made 50-100k of those Starbucks by now.

Had the 116610LV, never warmed up to the bezel. Simply looked cheap to me. Sold it and paid for a semester of college for my daughter. Never looked back. Post this question over on TRF and see what your responses are....

I've never been a fan of green watches.....it's not a long term 'keeper' color, imo. Would much prefer the all black scheme. I have an ST1....great watch and not as appreciated as it should be at the present time. But it's all personal choice.

Went with the Speedy to round out the speedmaster collection. Preferred it on the bracelet instead of the strap for now.

I think this is the problem I have with a lot of sub variations. if they mostly all share the same dial and the changes are essentially to bezel color... sorry, but the classic sub is still the all around most attractive (obv- imo). Changes to markers, subdials, face color like the speedys above, totally changes the nature of the watch for me as opposed to just "I put on a Hawaiian shirt today folks"

just my opinion. I know a lot of people go for the classic sub, different shirt look.

I find that green sub to be the least attractive of the three green variants, the Hulk and Kermit are both a lot nicer
