Hi Folks,

Here to pick your collective brains on this Omega Seamaster that I have the opportunity to purchase (from a reputable jeweller).

There is no documentation with this watch, but I have been told that the watch is 1962, although to be honest I think it could be anywhere between 1960-65.
It has been to a watchmaker recently but they were not asked to provide any info, just to check it over and ensure good timekeeping. I suppose I could get a local watchmaker to open it up and help identify it, but thought I would get some views here first.

It has an omega crown (appears original), and the dial appears to be Linen.

It has been suggested that its a 1961/62 Ref : 14765 Calibre : 552.
but to be honest I have no idea.

Anyway, thank for reading and any clues to its identify etc will be gratefully received.
Thank you

14770 with a linen dial? I would say early 1960s since it doesn't say De Ville, but I could be wrong on that.

Could also be a 14725, but I'd say 14765 is a good bet.
