Identification of Vintage Omega

First off, I am new to the watch community and especially Omega's in general. I took fancy in this particular watch, yet I have some questions:

1. The seller of this Omega states this is an Omega Geneve, yet everywhere I've looked, it seems to be a Seamaster.

2. This is a caliber 560, which is uncommon from what I hear, but how good is the movement? Is it a decently accurate movement?

3. Does the dial look authentic? This watch is incredibly clean for its age (granted it was just serviced).

That is all my questions, any help would be greatly appreciated! 😀

Is the 1 o’clock lug bent? That inner edge doesn’t look straight anymore and the strap looks a little squished. Whereas the strap fitment between the lower lugs isn’t squished.

No picture of the movement, sadly, $602 and comes with box.

Is the 1 o’clock lug bent? That inner edge doesn’t look straight anymore and the strap looks a little squished. Whereas the strap fitment between the lower lugs isn’t squished.

Is that fixable/is it worth getting fixed?

IMHO no. You’re better off looking for a good example from the get go vs buying something with case damage that needs repairing.

I wouldn’t touch a watch with a bent lug. Chances of it breaking off or cracking when trying to fix it are just too high

Even without the bent lug it’s not worth $600. GF case / ss back = bottom of the barrel US market watch. Cal 560 doesn’t really add to value.

Fair enough, which models do you recommend getting? I'm mainly looking for a white dial with a gold case in the same type of shape that this Omega comes with

A gold cased Omega will cost you at least twice as much.

Sorry, you said a gold case, so I misunderstood. Gold-plated or -filled are cheap, but not really worth buying, IMO. If you insist on a gold color, maybe you can find a gold-capped case, or even a solid 9K case to fit your budget. Especially since you're not too concerned about condition.
