I can see, but is it the crown guards or just a bad pic from a wrong angle. I have many times been foled by pics in both negativ as positive way

In my opinion inserts would be called fat font or thin font. Super fat font is not for me.

Agreed. The color line on the OP’s insert is different from the one in the link you posted.

Which one was purchased this year from AD? The fatter font one? And it’s a blue back? If so that’s very interesting.

Yes the blue back fat font was purchased from the AD earlier this year February



I know it wasn't from any stock they had, they ordered it as I had to wait a few days till it came in cost £50.00

I think there are 3 or 4 marks maximum for original fat font inserts. The rest is service or fake and be careful with red back inserts because they are faked too.

Could you ask to AD? I think that info would be very interesting.

I am admittedly surprised. Do you think these are hold-over pieces found in the back of a supply room, or has maker found an old printing pad, or are they just going back to this print style again?
