I recently gambled on this for $500 and couldn't pass it up and wow!! I am very happy with it!!! It has the original crystal and crown. The case is SHARP and unpolished. The dial I guess is redialed but to me looks very good still and doesn't bother me too much. The movement is clean and runs. It still needs a servicing and cleaning as there is some gunk around the case. Overall I can't believe I picked this up and is by far my best Omega in my collection!! Sorry for the lighting I tried my best with two different kinds!

I’m assuming you mean 'lumed' hands (no longer luminous) like on my 1959 14704-61

Yep! With lume on the dial I would have expected lume on the hands too.

Thanks all! This watch has 17.5mm lugs which is always a headache for me. Do I use 18mm spring bars or 17.5mm?

Also, the gold marking is a head. Is this a French gold case? I thought they usually use an eagle head?
