the question is will they release a new hulk with the new movement. If I were them i'd simply change the movement nothing else as its perfect imo and going by the history of the submariner they havent hardkly changed the design (apart from upgrade ceramic from steel)

That’s a hunch but most likely they won’t just change the movement and carry on with 116610LV. Some say that we may expect either a black bezel with green dial or vice versa green bezel with black dial, close to 16610LV. Let’s see it will most likely become clear in first quarter of either 2020 or 2021.

IMO the Hulk is a great 3rd or 4th option in a stable of watches. A Pepsi GMT is a great one watch option. So I think it depends on your current collection and whether you are a one watch kind of guy. You're on this forum so I'm assuming you are not a one watch guy though. In which case, it depends on your collection...

sell and rebuy @ at regular price.

only possible way it goes up any further is if they cease making them. and there's no reason they should do that being that there is a strong demand.

many peeps are paying the current, new, secondary, redick prices. but sadly,...they're sitting on thousands of them at rowleks HQ

just think if rolex decides to send multiples to every AD that's requesting them to fufill their orders...then what?..i tell you what. it goes from 9 to 15 back to 9 and since they're available nobody will want them..secondary used knock 1/2k off ..and viola.......you lose up to 50% equity

My son is 6 years old.
The day he was born I texted my buddy who was an AD from the delivery room and had him pull me a Hulk dated that day and named in my sons name.
Its still in its shipping coffin in my vault.
Dependent on what kinda person/student he is he may get it when he graduates high school, he may get it when he graduates college or he may watch me get to sell it if he's a degenerate LOL

NO, DO NOT SELL IT IF HE'S A DEGENERATE - Make him watch you wear it, forever. Also, be sure to get it serviced before you give it to him, since the oils will be dried up after about about 7 years.

I gave my son a birth year 1998 Omega SMP Bond Quartz for his 18th birthday. And he's getting a birth year 1998 Speedmaster Pro Moonwatch 3572.50 "hesalite sandwich" for his college graduation next year.
His high school graduation was a Speedmaster X-33 Skywalker. Lucky kid, but he's not been a degenerate either.

I sold my first Hulk and regretted it. Bought it a few years later, also at retail, although the watch had seen a few price corrections. Now, I know I won't ever sell mine every again. In fact, I think my problem is wanting to keep everything I get my hands on.

i bought one for a 12% discount in 2014 and won't ever sell it. Love it, because i love watches with colour and interesting dials.

Although i do wonder about the current dial colour craze. I'm thinking if in a few years time, Rolex will only release the colour dials in PM only. Just like the 2019 Pepsi GMT in white gold with blue dial. And Daytona in white gold with blue dial and yellow gold with green dial.

I wonder wether we will just see standard colour dials in steel. It seems like Rolex is very keen to push sales into PM. So the hulk in steel could be a fairly rare jewel in rolexes history.
