So been offered £11k for my 2016 piece considering putting toward a Pepsi jubilee but very conscious the Hulk may well be discontinued next year - if it is - do you guys expect it to appreciate a lot more and if so how much?

I like the Hulk, but the maxi case lugs give me pause. I wonder how gracefully it will age. I have started to lean towards Kermit for this reason.....

No one really knows what Rolex will do but most Hulk owners I know who sold theirs end up regretting it

Keep it it’s probably impossible to find one now unless you pay premium. My friend aold his and now he want it back and of course back on the “waiting list” since last yr still no luck.

Make sure you get the Pepsi before selling the hulk. Been sitting on a waiting list since day one. Not holding my breath.

Vote to keep it. I love mine and I believe that Rolex will stop making it in the next couple of years.

I agree with the gentleman above. TBH for 11k I’d sell it and get a few different things but my most expensive single watch is only worth 3,000. If you don’t need the money keep it it really is very unique.

    Thankyou for the comments guys

Can anyone comment on the original question of how much you think it might appreciate IF it were discontinued?

With these just as with any of the “Hot” watches one might possess, sell it and its gone forever. If you don’t need the cash and you love the watch, don’t sell.

Depends on how much you enjoy it. If it were mine and I wasn't overly attached I'd take the money an invest in something that I didn't want to sell.

Like the oyster BLNR it will spike once announced its discontinued and if you're looking for a figure.. £14.500. But, be quick as the market will flood and the price will come back down to £10,000-£11,000...... Maybe

Do you actually love it, or are you more worried about missing out on a few quid. On the basis of your question, I suspect the latter.

My answer - who knows. But as the owner of a 3 year old watch where you have the opportunity as a PRIVATE seller to offload it for 5 grand more than you paid for it, I’d do it yesterday if I didn’t care for it 100%.

I’ll also throw another vote in for keep. It’s a modern classic and brings way over msrp because once you see the dial in person you fall in love. The glidelock bracelet and modern amenities make it a winner imo. I’ve had a few of each the Hulk and the Pepsi and they wear very differently with the oyster / jubilee. I’d keep and add.
