Wrong caseback leading to a wrong description? :whipped:

The funny thing is the full description of the watch would make you think that it would haveraised a flag in someone mind. Then again they called it a pie pan dial...

Over priced even with the correct caseback.

Yeah, don't mind the movement, serial range, dial with applied logo and long indices...totally a 69...wow.

Or a prototype transitional

This is exactly why I like HQM.
They are a dealers dealer, who know a little about a lot.
They put up for sale what they buy, rarely "preparing" them.
That means sometimes you can get really fresh, original pieces.
They put a margin, and don't try to make the rent on one sale, no matter what it is.

i forgive all their errors, (and they have many!) because they have such huge volume

Uh oh. I just paid $8600 for a 145.012 67 in similar condition. Plus a $600 service.

That is one of the best condition DON bezels I've seen recently though, which is semi-odd as the case looks a bit banged up.

What I find odd is that they didn't do any research prior to listing...I mean there are certain steps any seller takes before listing.

Correct movt for reference
Correct dial for reference
Correct serial for reference

If any of those fail, then it requires a bit more research.

But to @Spacefruit point, this is what makes them a good dealer...something may fly under the radar.

Looks like a nice watch either way...makes me feel better about my 145.012-67!

Always the same story : niche & focus VS volume 😗
