How to remove odd bracelet on 168.005?

My Constellation 168.005 was just delivered today. However, I'm scratching my head on how to remove the bracelet (it looks like a cheap generic bracelet). There's no slot to remove the spring bar. My springbar removal tool also doesn't fit between the lugs and the bracelet.

Any ideas?

Some bracelets/endlinks are meant for watches with lug holes. If the bracelet has no value, you should probably look into cutting or snipping it off.

My gut reaction is also that some heathen has use shoulderless spring bars and a bracelet that’s the devils bloody work on a case without lug holes. Cut it off!

If you don't want to save the bracelet. Take a small screwdriver and pry open the bracelet to allow access to the pin. If it's a cheapie, it should come apart pretty easy.

Have you tried the ol' floss trick?
Probably wouldn't work here, there's no "pull back" gap.

Floss trick didn't work. I had to pull out the heavy hitters. I grabbed the first thing in my toolbox that could cut metal.

All good now. It's just so nasty with all the wrist cheese. 🤮

It's going off to my spa for a full service and cleaning.

I was going to jokingly recommend a Sawzall. Guess I wasn’t far off.

Thinking back I should have broken out the Dremel with a metal cutting wheel. Probably would have been faster without the added risk of damaging the watch.

I think a high speed wheel of death has a higher chance of damage should it slip or torque out. Maybe a jeweler's saw next time 😁
