how to adjust date and month on 1958 seamaster crono

I can not adjust the date and month on a 1958 seamaster 30 meter chronograph, the stem does not pull out any further then one position, tried rotating around the clock a few times and no date change does the stem have more then one position?

In this thread https://omegaforums.net/threads/inherited-a-old-seamaster.119426/ you posted photos of the inside caseback of a CK2907-2 -- which has no month or date function. The (0)-30 subdial is minutes for the chronograph function, not date, and the (0)-12 is hours and half-hours not month. The two pushers that you mention Omega replacing during service operate the chronograph.

wow easy to miss understand the two dials are 0-30 and 1-12 so thought it was day and month. now know its minutes and hours stop watch, cool . thanks for your help.

Am I right in guessing that you were Autocrossing your Mini and doing that well into the era of digital timers? I was navigating on road rallies when I got my first chronograph 50 years ago, pure mechanical of course, and needing to time up to an hour was common. So, after a bit of puzzling I realised you may not have needed to time anything more than a minute and had always done it digitally.

This is what we call Autocross where I live, with my Mini Cooper S, about 1974.

Left the watch at the jewelers, we thought it was date and not working, but got a better look at the dial,and hands it is perfect, a slight petena but no marks or paint chips, the case has scratches on the back but the rest is very clean, impressed, will pick up tomorrow and post pictures. ,

Halda made a "Twin-Master" that had two distance recorders, but time was more likely to be a pair of Heuer dashboard clocks. All that expensive stuff was out of our league, the best we could get drivers to fit was a standard socket for our maplights (known as Potties). As a jobbing navigator if you wanted timing you had to bring it yourself. Couldn't even rely on some drivers to get the seat harness straps the right way up, or to wire extra lights though a properly rated switch, so I carried a basic tool kit in my bag.

long time ago yes had twin master with a cable to a hub cap on the rear wheel and had two stop watches with a hit bar. stopped one started the other, more fun was in my 850 mini set up for millage was the shell mileage runs, loose bearings brakes pulled way back high pressure tires leaned the needle right in and started and stopped the motor and costed as much as we could, most time i could beat the 100 mile per gallon mark. Tool kits were mandatory for minis. Also had a race moke , 145 hp very light went like stink. . ahhh the good old times.
