I set my Speedmaster Professional to a time source six months ago.

I have not worn it or touched it.

It is now one second slow.

It's also stopped if you haven't worn or touched it...

Nup. Just checked it. Doing fine.
But I just pressed the light button and it went into 5 second jump mode so I guess it's time to change the battery.

Ed: And as I've had a wee dram of Dalwhinne 15YO I may just leave that task until tomorrow.

😁

Can we see a photo of this watch perhaps?

I've had my Seamaster 300M for 18 months now and have been astounded at its accuracy from a mechanical movement, about .3 sec a week gain (job to tell!) sort of thing I would have expected from a quartz movement!

That's phenomenal

I only have one Omega...a modern Speedy Gonzales Moonwatch [my grail watch] that I received new in 2015...at that time [and for a few years] it ran about +2 to +3 seconds per 24 hours on the wrist and in a dial up off-the-wrist position. Over the past year or so it appeared to be running about +10 to +15 seconds per 24 hours on the wrist and in a dial up off-the-wrist position. Well...I like to dork with stuff that “ain’t really broke”...so I opened her up with my handy-dandy green gripper ball and ever-so-slightly manipulated the regulator screw to run a wee bit slower. The very slight regulator screw manipulation seems to have been successful and it’s been running about +1 to +3 seconds per 24 hours on the wrist and in a dial up off-the-wrist position for several weeks now. 👍

My 1861 runs +5 per day, happy with that for a mechanical watch. Twice a week maybe I’ll reset the second hand which gives me the opportunity to admire it in more detail 😁

Less than +1 sec a day on a new 8900 PO
Worn during day, crown down at night. More accurate than the METAS results.
More accurate than I had expected.....so far.

my FOIS runs an average 3.5 seconds fast a day. Tested over several months with different amounts of usage and store in a watch box face up when no used.

After a proper service, my 1956 Seamaster runs 3.5 seconds fast per day. Love having both the vintage charm and the modern accuracy!

Since I've owned it my DSOM has gained around 2/3 seconds a month. I am hugely impressed with that and the watch in general.

My Seamaster 300 2018 Wave Dial has been accurate to 0.08 seconds per day, not kidding. This is ridiculous! Lol!

my Seamaster 300MC runs +36 sec for a week. Is it alright or need to be adjusted? It's average a 5 sec a day still within range of chronomast -4 and +6 sec, though..
