The persnicketiness surrounding the world calatrava. Yeah, we get it, it’s incorrect unless you’re referring to a Patek model. You know what’s more annoying than using it incorrectly? Constantly reminding people that they’re using it incorrectly.

Nah ... I think using it incorrectly is still more annoying. 😝

Annoying, but then you would have every subdial being called a Calatrava in a few years.

Then someone will post

Their 44mm Invicta Calatrava.

"Please Inquire"

Yeah, price on request. That's annoying, and a huge waste of time.
[I understand that dealers don't want to publicize their prices because they don't want people to know when they reduce them. I get it. But it's still annoying.]

Referring to anything as “Mil” unless that exact model was actually spec’d for military service.

How about every 1940s watch is: WW2 era military style. Just enough to be arguably honest, but also makes it a PITA to search for an WW2 military watch.

1. "My watchmaker inspected it and said it was fine"
*Proceeds to show cruddy movement*
2. Every run of the mill vintage Rolex having a "stunning/unique dial"

Deployant = an expanding metal watch clasp joining the two parts of its strap or bracelet together.

Deployment = the act of bringing or sending resources (typically troops or equipment) to a certain position ready for action.

Next week, rocket science.

Or just because it has the numbers 13-24 near the numbers 1-12
