More puzzled than peved....People who sell watches without a strap/bracelet.....put a strap on it, it's like someoneone selling a car but keeping the wheels.
Nice bicycles are sold without pedals. Any real cyclist understands this. I brought home a nice Bianchi a few years ago and my wife thought I was a total fool to spend that much for a bike and not even get pedals with it...

As for watches, most straps and a few bracelets that I receive with a watch go right in the trash. There are the exceptions.

This one came on a Benrus or a Bulova and was a total surprise. Perfect for this watch.

People who use “we” to make it seem like their sole properitership eBay store is bigger than Extensive Enterprises. For example “We cannot return the POS item we tried to sell you because we do not accept returns”.

What is the reason for this? I get that someone might want a specific set of pedals but the manufactures should atleast give some options with a bike that costs the equivalent of a decent car.

The screw hole on the pedal arm is a standard size. The accepted assumption is the rider that would buy a nice bike already has shoes, mount and pedals. Some entry level bikes come with pedals.

Further, because a bike and it's rider must mesh size-wise for maximum rider comfort and efficiency, handlebars, saddles and pedal arms are going to be specced or swapped out at time of purchase or soon after.

The important idea is a nice bike is a really well built frame that a discerning cyclist adds the components they want to the total package. Entry level bikes come as a complete product. Often that package isn't anywhere close to the ideal fit or purpose for the buyer and isn't ridden for very long and soon abandoned; thus a waste of money.

I can understand selling without a strap or bracelet. After collecting for a while, lots of people end up with more undistinguished contemporary straps/bracelets that they need. Someone about to sell a watch wouldn't spend big money on a correct vintage bracelet in case the buyer has other tastes.

Someone selling a bunch of vintage watches and every single one of them is described as "I inherited this watch..."

Crisp, or its racier cousin crispy. When applied to watches.

Please, I don't understand "crispy" or "crisp". Will you offer a synonym?
Thank you.

Have fun
