It brings joy to my heart to see the old boy back at it!

Although I think my dog might be broken. 馃槈 Seriously, how does she sleep like that?

We treasure every moment he is with us and all the lovely comments when it looked as if he was about to leave us were greatly appreciated 馃憤

The following is meant as general info, not as scaremongering , there's more than enough of that at the moment.

Walks round our parts have become somewhat less enjoyable, we have a group of unwelcome guests, jumping in and out of bushes hiding, taking pictures of dogs and following women walking dogs on their own.

From talking to a few mates I have in the Force this is not just a local thing, it appears the addicts/ nefarious folks are out in the open and are either a) stealing dogs to order or b) stealing dogs for bait dogs. Reason being is they're getting desperate since their usual targets are not getting pissed up and only noticing they've been mugged until the following morning.

We have at least 2 chancers round our way ( Berkshire countryside 7 miles from Reading) as of today, wandering the parks and lanes doing this, reported and photo'd but that does not seem to put them off. The longer lockdowns carry on, the more desperate these folks are likely to get.

I'm aware some of you folks live in hard to believe remote and idyllic places, but for those that don't all I ask is be a little more vigilant when out with your doggos, of your surroundings and folks you may encounter.

Pics for ' you have something of my interest ' clicks.

I would have a can of this and be itching to use it.

From what I understand its a 50/50 from taking dog off weaker folks straight into a car or picking up smaller dogs off lead and legging it. Both of the ID'd chaps round our way are thin 6ft'ers so thinking the latter.

That looks like pie of some type. I usually rest my head on the counter till I get pie also.

Whenever I walk the mutts my wife asks "do you have a gun?" I always do, she is more worried about her dogs than me.

Following the recent post from @Wivac this appeal popped up from local police,

Time to remain vigilant when out with the boys or t.b.h. just out and about 馃槨

The advice round our way is now walk in pairs.

Doesn't help much as the issue we have with Frank is he's now in full blown selective hearing teenage phase and he loves charging off to say hello to other dogs and randoms.

I think your Frank wandered off and I found him at our place.

He goes by Geoffrey now.

Superdooper my 20.5 year old cat has been going down hill. After a recent visit to the vet here are the meds she takes. I don鈥檛 know if any of you have had to IV a cat yet but it can be difficult. The IV is just to keep her hydrated I usually give her 10ml from the bag a day the other meds are daily B-12 shots and a liquid steroid. I also had her on a chemo type drug but they are 60 bucks a pill, i get them at a human pharmacy and we are going on two years of this sort of thing so we cut out the pill and hoping this regime will work. I thought she was only 19.5 but the vet corrected me I missed a year good thing I didn鈥檛 buy her a birth year watch, she would have been upset.
