·But they are correct, just for different watches 😀.
Hodinkee has been selling watches that are not 100% what they claim for years. Or should I say, they know what they are/aren't but they just don't tell it to your face.
Plenty of watches with wrong replacement parts have been sold by them.
Sad but people still buy them (probably those that are not purists/knowledgeable).
Wow, unless you purchased form them u don’t know. They have a reputation, if they miss inform or sell something incorrectly I am sure they would make good on them. If word gets around they r selling bad watches it will crush them. They don’t make a ton of money selling vintage watches so it would not behove them to sell bad watches
But could it be that we, as either experts or pseudo-experts, know and are more sensitized to errors in this particular model of watch, than the sellers who deal with so many different brands, and couldn't possibly know all the nuances of each?
Yes you make a valid point Bob... 😀 BUT.... you wouldn't have to be a Consultant Urologist to know that one larger bollock up and one smaller bollock dangling down aint quite right??? 😕
Hopefully not speaking from personal experience?
