Hey folks,

Newcomer here, I am considering purchasing this Seamaster (which year....I may have messed up for I didn't find it).

I was hoping you guys could tell me if this is indeed authentic based on the photos ?

The bracelet doesn't matter to me, but the dial, the crown....I have mixed feelings about this. Unfortunately I can't get any more details, it's an online auction and they won't open the case despite my request.

Only infos I got : 76,40 gr with bracelet and 35mm.

What are your thoughts of this example ?

Many thanks for your help !

All the best

Looks like a solid gold m̶i̶d̶-̶s̶i̶z̶e̶ case to me, over-polished, with a redial and an unsigned crown.....so basically it has nothing going for it- Avoid!

Oof, that is some bad polishing 😲
Quite a shame, as these cases look really stunning if left untouched - I've been looking for an 18k one in addition to my 2846 steel, too.
But even with my limited knowledge, I'd avoid that one.

While I agree about the avoiding part, I don't believe Omega made a mid-size Seamaster with date?

You're probably right there, I'll correct my post! I was going by the hands which look out of proportion to me
