5000$ is a very good price for a -69 with DON bezel.
This is an honest example and the general condition is good.

Ended up finding a different option. Seller bought it directly from the original owner. Completely unpolished. Really excited and wanted to share some pics. Now just need to find a bezel (although I actually like the look without)

Depending on the serial it will take a DNN or DON bezel, so you need to figure that out.

Extract is 1-12-70. Wouldn’t that be DON?

Was hoping to budget 2k for a decent option. Any idea what the bracelet might be worth on it’s own?

I’m on my phone and the photos are small so can you help me out a bit. Is it an 1175?

I’m not totally sure. It’s the original Omega flat links bracelet signed by Joskes Mexico. Abstract confirms it was delivered to Mexico.

Clasp is from Mexico I guess, but I’m wondering more about the bracelet. Anyway, my best guess is a 1175, but if so it has the wrong end links. Should be 640 end links I think. It looks like the ends of the bracelet may have been modified to fit the end links. It seems that the center section of the end links is narrower than the center section of the bracelet. Again, just looking at small photos on my phone.

I agree its a modified 1175

OP can you return it? The bracelet is worth very little if you were going to use it to offset the bezel cost. The other watch at 5K is by far the better option in my opinion

This watch has been polished. I have added pointers to show.

Line on the lug.

The "flat step" is gone.

Here is how it should be:

However, with that said, I do not think it is necessarily a bad thing.

I don’t agree as there are different cases available. Mine is the same as the OP’s.

Ok interesting, do you have the same line on top? Also, are you sure your watch has not been polished?

Not too late to return it but I do still think I did ok on it. Just trying to figure out if the bracelet is all original (seller claims it is) and how much it may be worth.

Plus, I really do like the watch.

Bracelet may be original, but not the end links, and the bracelet is probably modified. The story about it being original is just a second hand story.

Regarding the bezel, you may want to take a look at what you can get for $2k. Personally I wouldn’t want a $2k DON on that watch. It’s going to have major flaws, and the bezel has a major visual impact. Without a bezel and with a modified bracelet, I think that’s a $2k-$3k watch.
